💘 Pumkin Lovestory 🎃

A short sweet little platformer game with light story elements. 

The game features a unique dressing mechanic that grants the main heroine new skills with newly acquired clothes & accessories. She will be able to climb, double-jump, dash, float down and, of course, bonk those pesky little forest mushrooms. And if there is no apparent way forward... Well, let's just say our sweet little Pumkin can always find a way out of her predicaments. She just needs to focus and close her eyes for a moment...

At the edge of the endless sea of autumn woods, there once was a lonely Pumpkin house where lived one lonely Pumkin.

Sometimes life throws us a bone. In the case of Pumkin, however, fate decided to send her flying headfirst into a whole pile of those. The name of that pile turned out to be Valerii. A renowned weaver of garments, webs and life-altering meetings.

Now, there is a cozy house just at the edge of the (once again) autumn woods that used to be very lonely, but now is rather very much lovely. But, hopefully soon, it shall witness yet another peculiar development in the life of its denizens...

Known issues:

Gamepad only properly works in Web. Godot 4.7 update has broken gamepad support in the menus, and we've noticed this too late. The rest of the game should work fine either way.
